Work performances are mirrored in work feelings. Work feelings are windows to Talents & Strengths.

The Thinking Behind The Tweet

As a rule, you don't see happy faces when people are struggling with their work.

As a rule, you don't see unhappy faces when people are doing a good job.

When put to good use, personal talents & strengths generate two things: positive body language and quality work results.

Abraham Lincoln

"Every man is proud of what he does well; and no man is proud of what he does not do well. With the former, his heart is in his work; and he will do twice as much of it with less fatigue. The latter performs a little imperfectly, looks at it in disgust, turns from it, and imagines himself exceedingly tired. The little he has done, comes to nothing, for want of finishing."

Expanding Good Habits: that is Life's Major Construction.

The Thinking Behind The Tweet

Our Habits define us. Our Good Habits will be viewed positively by other people...assuming the other people are thoughtful and balanced.

So, for the benefit of other people there is nothing more worthy of construction than Good Habits

And, by definition, Good Habits make us feel good because they align with our Goals.

And finally, Bad Habits make no one feel good; they do the opposite; so, the more they are replaced with Good Habits the better.

"Courage begets strength, fear begets weakness. And so courage begets success, fear begets failure."

Ralph Waldo Trine wrote that in 1896. We don't use the word 'begets' too often any more. However, the logic of the old words still rings true. The quote is an illustration of why Spirited Leaders value Courage.

How do we rebuild trust? One small, well-thought-out, personal, positive step at a time.

Maybe you care about the damage trust has experienced?

Maybe you want to repair that damage?

Maybe you do not know how?

People know what's going on in my head...my thoughts are important to them...time for my wake-up call.

If you think communication is easy and yours is very successful, you're dreaming.

Invest the time it takes to understand people. Understanding provides for trust, motivation, & leadership.

The Thinking Behind The Tweet

In part, inspired by a re-reading of Michael Gerber's 'The E-Myth Revisited'. Pick a demographic - learn its psychographics - and don't forget, we're dealing with people...not statistics.

Of course, there's a softer side and a more-important justification. Only when we understand others are we able to help them. [Without such understanding we ramble along, at best, half-helping ourselves.]
