You think about how you act at work. Do you think about how you think at work?

The Thinking Behind The Tweet

While at work...

  • you think
  • you act

While at work...

  • you act without thinking...i.e., your habits kick in and you act in rote ways, with very little or no thought
  • you think then act...relying on your judgment to lead you to better action [i.e., action that takes you toward your desired goals]

While at work...

  • do you think about how you think?

May your molehills remain molehills and may your ego choose molehills over mountain climbing.

The Thinking Behind The Tweet

Better to climb mountains in your mind than on the back of your donkey-ego.

Educate your brain: don't just stuff it full of facts and demand it work harder - mould it so it does a good job of thinking.

If you are thrilled with the way your mind and brain are serving you...terrific!

If you are not thrilled - take your mind to a better place...as one example, train your mind how to think more positively...another example, train your mind how to govern self-control.

Problems are like icebergs: their most-damaging parts are below the surface.

The Thinking Behind The Tweet

We human beings have a curious habit. We tend to express problems in ways that conceal the real sources of our 'pain'. I suppose our egos make us play word and mind games...prettying up our real problems with make-up so other people will view us in [what our egos hope will be] a better light.

Energy is primal. Your energy is your gift. How are you making best use of it?

The Thinking Behind The Tweet

In 1911, James Allen wrote - "Energy is a moral virtue, its opposing vice being laziness. As a virtue, it can be cultivated, and the lazy man can become energetic by forcibly arousing himself to exertion."

James Allen picked Energy as the 1st of his 'Eight Pillars of Prosperity'.

Energy - that's the starting point of all achievement!
