The Thinking Behind the Sales Tweet
So far, The Boss has come up with 3 ways to kill ideas: 1) The angry ‘NO’…that always works, however, he doesn’t want to overuse it; 2) Death by Delay…he can send the work to a committee where the Chair is from some other department in the company…it doesn't matter who is Chair of the committee is as long as the Chair isn’t one of his people, and 3) Belittling the person who has the idea: that works real well with Don Trodden, but isn’t so effective with Ernest Seller. Do you have MORE IDEAS? If you have any the please email us so we can relay them to The Boss.

Sales Tweet #315 "If you don't execute your ideas, they die." Roger Von Oech
The Thinking Behind the Sales Tweet
That’s an oxymoronic or at least paradoxical ifferism…ie, it is an aphorism that begins with ‘if’. An aphorism is an original thought expressed concisely in a memorable way….memorable wisdom. [that's an 8-word example of how to hit a bunch of nuances in our wonderful English language...even though, I believe, it fails to meet the rules of proper grammar]

Sales Tweet #314 Then The Boss just snapped…“Don Trodden, this is the perfect time for you to become a missing person”.
The Thinking Behind the Sales Tweet
“When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained.” Mark Twain said that. Obviously, Mark Twain never met a combination of characters like The Boss and Don Trodden. Don Trodden did not disappear and he wasn’t mad…just more fearful. The Boss was mad…or, at least, he remained angry. And, life around the office continued to defy explanation.
