Thought Tweet #805 Intrinsic drives stay with us throughout our lives.
The Thinking Behind The Tweet
Do you have some internal drives that have survived for decades? If you do then you know what I'm talking about.
[I'm guessing it's one of those drives this is causing some of us to continuously seek out ice cream.]

Thought Tweet #805.5 If poor behaviour is rampant at your business, the problem is in your Process not your People.
The Thinking Behind The Tweet
One bad egg can spoil the bunch. While I have not witnessed it firsthand, that may be true for eggs.
But, it's highly unlikely that applies to people at your work.
If you have one poorly behaving employee then chances are good that employee has some problems and is bringing those problems to your workplace. If you have many poorly behaving employees then you either have flawed hiring systems or you have flawed training systems or you have flawed supervision systems, etc. In summary, you have flawed Processes.
Business Contains Only 3 Things: People, Process, & Situations.
Don't place blame on People when the blame should be placed on Processes.

Thought Tweet #804 "If you haven't had to make payroll month after month, you haven't really learned how to be practical." John Rose
The Thinking Behind The Tweet
My friend John Rose said that when we met recently. I like it so much I asked if he would be OK with me using it as a quote.
If you are an entrepreneur this quote will resonate.
