Sales Tweet #248 Here’s one difference between Ernest Seller and The Boss. Ernest is slow. The Boss is thorough.
The Thinking Behind the Sales Tweet
At least, that’s the way The Boss sees it. And, The Boss is a big believer in the Golden Rule: he who carries the gold makes the rules! Ernest has a different way of looking at these sorts of things. He doesn’t spend much time thinking about The Boss [one way or the other]. He doesn’t mind The Boss calling him ‘slow’. After all, the turtle beat the rabbit in that race. And, rabbits aren’t lucky…it seems to Ernest…only their feet are lucky.

Sales Tweet #247 After that episode with Ernest Seller yesterday, The Boss had horrible nightmares, reliving school days.
The Thinking Behind the Sales Tweet
The Boss struggled with school. He was bored stiff about the whole experience. So, he was the kind of guy who frequently dozed off to sleep during class. It happened so often he came to think of teachers as people who talk during someone else’s sleep. Yesterday’s experience with Ernest must have opened some of The Boss’s old subconscious wounds. Last night The Boss had a horrible nightmare about his school days. In the nightmare, his math teacher lost it, went completely berserk, and did a number on the blackboard.

Sales Tweet #246 Caught with head on desk The Boss said, "I wasn't sleeping! I was meditating on our mission statement".
The Thinking Behind the Sales Tweet
Ernest Seller had opened The Boss’s door quickly, without knocking. He surprised The Boss, who had been snoozing in an effort to muster the strength to handle the afternoon of work with Ernest and his sales teammates. You gotta hand it to The Boss. That guy is quick on his feet! He’s got an answer for everything. He’s got those ‘motor wheels’…they never stop turning…unless, of course, he happens to be asleep at his desk.
