Talk about communication gaps...when you gaze into the communication abyss it screams back at you.

The biggest problem in business continues to be communication gaps...which continue to broaden & deepen and, far too often, are ignored or set aside for another day.

Improvement of Communication begins with the leader.

Yes, Nietzsche gazed into the abyss and it returned the favour. Gaze into Communication at your business. Does it scream in discomfort at you? What do you plan to do about that?

As the saying goes...If not today, WHEN? If not you, WHO?

At least, they don't want to change it enough to take simple steps to overcome their resistance to improving self-analysis, improving observation of others, and improving judgement...and then improving communication.

Communication tip: When you know make presentations stop ah filling in gaps um with you know, ah, um...ad nauseam.

Most of us do it from time to time.

Some of us do it regularly.

Some of us do it when we make presentations to large groups. 

PS: There's Power in the Pause...people will not be distracted & people will know your brain has other you know stuff ah in um it.

PPS: One way to replace Bad Habits is trying New Things...but, you must know you have a Bad Habit before you can fix it. Record yourself...check it out. Then monitor your speaking and replace those fill-in words with pauses.

Could it be 21st Century predators are a forgiving lot of creatures?

Could it be Darwin was wrong?

...survival of the fittest? ... or was it survival of the most adaptable? ... or is it survival of the least able to listen?

Assuming evolution is an accurate theory - and I'm not so sure about that any more - How many generations will it take for human ears to shrink and disappear through lack of use?
