Ernest wrote that. He takes care to explain he stole the first two lines from a very famous poem written by some ancient guy named 'Anonymous'. Ernest added the sales touch to the poem…he deserves full credit for that. Anyhow, it's been great to be able to share some of Ernest's personal thoughts and creativity with you today.

There goes Ernest again…trying to get Buyers to make his sales life a little easier…trying to get Buyers to do his work from him. Well - if Ernest has one good quality it is persistence. I know that because I know he has asked this question numerous times. While it has never brought him success, Ernest knows winners never quit and quitters never win. So, there's a real good chance he will keep asking Buyers this question.

Sometimes Clients scare Ernest. I don’t mean he feels intimidated or unprepared to deal with clients or over his head or anything like that. I mean Clients scare Ernest. Clients love Halloween because they can jump out at Ernest and cause him to have a conniption. Ernest's co-workers do it too. You'd think Ernest would get immune to it - it has been happening since he was in High School.

What a worthy endeavour! Ernest can hardly contain his genius. Well, to make sure I don’t mislead you…Ernest is not containing this brain-child of his genius. He has already impressed family, friends, and co-workers with it. Here’s the big, hairy, audacious thought behind this Ernest brain-child: if Ernest can feign attention while his Clients and prospects are talking then he figures he can double his sales. Ernest has a Bonus Thought: when he hones this skill he will finally be able to tolerate those incessant lectures his [unreasonable] boss lays on him.

Ernest picked that up from one of those Rodney Dangerfield movies. Rodney Dangerfield is one of Ernest's Top 10 actors. Ernest is thinking about self-talk…I mean doing those daily affirmations that many of the self-help gurus promote. But, Ernest gets forgetful...a lot. So, the only time he does the self-talk is when he thinks of Rodney Dangerfield. And, Ernest is pretty content with that. It seems to work.
