Thought Tweet #661

by Rick Baker
On Jan 28, 2013

Thought Tweet #661 The brain doesn't contain gray matter. It's dark in there. I imagine some flashes of green and orange signals too.

The Thinking Behind The Tweet

While I admit I am no brain surgeon, I don't believe the brain contains gray matter. Those "little gray cells" are a myth and a misnomer. It cannot be possible that the cells of our brains are achromatic.

Even after just a bit of thought, whose brain can seriously buy into brain-parts devoid of hue?

While some may argue it's tough to stain brain cells, that wouldn't be sufficient to paint our brain cells with the ho-hum description "gray".

PS: I might accept the existence of "little gray cells" if they prove that's where indecision happens.

@GKWCC #CEOP2P: Just listening...not making pre-conceived judgements…keeping an open mind…that’s my challenge.

by Rick Baker
On Jan 28, 2013

The @GKWCC #P2P series of thought tweets contains ideas, quotes, & suggestions provided by local business leaders at "CEO Peer-to-Peer" group meetings, sponsored by the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce.

The goals of the thought tweets: to help local business leaders and to promote the sharing of business thoughts.

The thoughts expressed are not opinions of the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce...they are opinions of local business leaders who are Chamber members and participate in the Chamber's CEO P2P program.
